Ingredients
- 8 ounces cold water
- 6 tea bags
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
- Ice cubes

Directions
- Bring the cold water and tea bags to a boil in a pot. Once boiling, remove the pot from the heat and take out the tea bags when the tea reaches your desired strength.
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup water, the sugar, and the chopped mint. Heat over medium until it begins to boil, then remove from the stove and let the syrup cool.
- Pour the cooled mint syrup into the brewed tea, stir well, and serve over a glass filled with ice cubes.
