Craving an irresistible, crunchy snack that's bursting with bold flavors? This Sesame and Wasabi Snack Mix combines wasabi peas, sesame sticks, and crispy noodles for a tantalizing treat perfect for parties, movie nights, or anytime munching!

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups crisp rice cereal (such as Rice Chex), about 3 ounces
  • 3 cups dried snap peas, about 3 ounces
  • 2 cups crunchy chow mein noodles, about 4 ounces
  • 1 1/2 cups roasted salted almonds, about 7 ounces
  • 1 1/2 cups sesame sticks, approximately 4 ounces
  • 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups wasabi peas, roughly 6 ounces

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F and get ready to ignite your taste buds! In a large bowl, toss together the rice cereal, dried snap peas, chow mein noodles, almonds, and sesame sticks. Whisk up the melted butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, grated garlic, Chinese five-spice, red pepper flakes, and 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt in another bowl until silky smooth. Pour over the mix and stir enthusiastically to coat every piece.
  2. Spread evenly on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 16-18 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden, toasty, and almost dry. Your kitchen will fill with mouthwatering aromas!
