These Parmesan Garlic Fries are a customer favorite at Ree's Mercantile, piled with grated cheese and a flavorful garlic butter. This version uses frozen, seasoned fries so you can recreate the restaurant experience at home.
Ingredients
- Garlic Butter: 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 4 tablespoons salted butter, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, finely chopped
- Fries: 1 1/2 pounds frozen seasoned fries
- Toppings: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon minced parsley
- 1/2 cup store-bought garlic aioli
- 1/2 cup ketchup
Directions
- Begin by making the garlic butter. In a small skillet, warm the olive oil over medium-low and add the garlic. Cook gently 4 to 5 minutes until fragrant, taking care not to brown the garlic. Remove the skillet from heat and let cool about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, 2 tablespoons Parmesan, and the minced oregano. Stir in the cooled oil and cooked garlic until well combined. Set aside.
- Prepare the fries according to package directions, then remove them from the oven while hot.
- Toss the hot fries with the garlic butter until evenly coated. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan and parsley. Serve immediately with garlic aioli and ketchup for dipping.
