Ingredients:
- Fresh spearmint leaves
- Fresh lemon balm
- Fresh lemon verbena
Instructions:
- Imagine the refreshing burst of nature's finest herbs in every sipgather and wash a colander full of fresh spearmint, lemon balm, and lemon verbena leaves. Rinse them three times thoroughly in a large pot, checking carefully to ensure they're pristine. Remove the leaves from the lemon verbena stems, then finely chop the mint and lemon balm.
- Bring about 2 quarts of filtered or spring water to a lively boil. Add the herbs, stirring gently for several minutes to release their vibrant aromas.
- Remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse deeply.
- Strain the tea through a sieve lined with at least four layers of cheesecloth for crystal-clear perfection. This creates a flavorful concentratedilute it two to four times to suit your taste.
- Store refrigerated to stay fresh for 4 to 5 days. Serve chilled over ice, sweetened or unsweetened, and let this eco-friendly delight transport you to a garden oasis!
