Ingredients
- 2 pounds watermelon, cut into cubes (approximately 6 cups)
- 4 cups diced strawberries, stems removed (from about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup silver tequila
- 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice (from 1 large lime), plus extra as needed

- 3 whole strawberries, cut in half
- 6 lime wedges

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the cubed watermelon, diced strawberries, sugar, and salt. Let this sit, stirring occasionally, until the sugar fully dissolves and a syrup forms, which should take between 15 to 30 minutes.
- Blend the fruit mixture with tequila and 2 teaspoons of lime juice in batches, pouring each into a large pitcher. Stir well to combine. Add additional lime juice if preferred. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour, up to 3 hours, until well chilled.
- To garnish, thread one strawberry half, one lime wedge, and one watermelon cube onto each of six skewers. Pour the agua fresca evenly into six chilled glasses. Place a garnish skewer in each glass before serving.
