Ingredients
- 7 black tea bags (try Luzianne or Lipton)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 kumquats, thinly sliced (optional)
- 2 key limes or 1 regular lime, sliced into rounds
- 1 lemon, sliced into rounds
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 4 cups of water in a saucepan until it begins to simmer, then remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 8 minutes, then discard the tea bags. Stir in the honey while the tea is still warm and let the tea cool.
- Pour the sweetened tea into a pitcher, add 2 cups of ice and 4 cups of cold water, then stir to combine.
- Add the sliced kumquats (if using), lime slices, and lemon slices to the pitcher.
- Serve over ice and garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves.
