Cheddar Horseradish Cheese Ball

Ingredients
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 2 1/4 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons finely diced onion
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 slices bacon
- 1/3 cup toasted chopped walnuts
- Assorted vegetables and crackers, for serving
Instructions
- Combine both cheeses, chopped onion, horseradish, 1 tablespoon parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt to taste, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper in a medium bowl. Stir until evenly blended. Shape the mixture into a ball, wrap in plastic, and chill until firm and flavors meld, at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Remove the cheese ball from the fridge 30 minutes before serving. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on a paper towel and crumble when cool. In a shallow bowl, combine the crumbled bacon with the toasted walnuts and remaining tablespoon of parsley. Roll the chilled cheese ball in this mixture to coat it evenly. Serve with your choice of vegetables and crackers.
