Ingredients
- 3 large celery stalks from the heart, including leaves, plus extra for garnish
- 36 ounces tomato juice (recommended: Sacramento)
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon grated yellow onion
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 12 dashes hot sauce (suggested: Tabasco), or to taste
- 1 1/2 cups vodka
Instructions
- Dice the celery, including leaves, into large pieces. Finely chop in a food processor fitted with a steel blade until thoroughly minced.
- In a large pitcher, combine all ingredients except the vodka.
- With the food processor running, slowly pour 1/4 of the tomato juice mixture through the feed tube. Transfer the processed celery to the pitcher with the remaining mixture and stir well.
- Add vodka, then refrigerate until fully chilled.
- Serve in tall glasses over ice, garnished with a celery stalk. Refreshingly zesty and perfect for brunchmix up a batch and elevate your gatherings!
