  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup smoked paprika
  • 1 heaping tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 heaping tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 heaping tablespoon onion powder
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 racks spareribs
  • 1/3 cup yellow mustard
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

  1. Preheat your oven to 250F and line a baking pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and 1 teaspoon kosher salt this rub is your ticket to flavor town!
  3. Place the ribs meat-side down on the foil-lined pan, season both sides generously with salt, brush with half the mustard, and sprinkle with half the rub. Flip, repeat, and bake for 2 to 2.5 hours until irresistibly tender.
  4. Slather half the BBQ sauce on top, return to the oven for 30 more minutes, and watch that glossy glaze form pure perfection!
