Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage links, kept in casings
- 1 crusty baguette, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 10 to 12 fresh rosemary sprigs (approximately 10 inches in length)
- Olive oil, to taste
Instructions
- Heat an outdoor grill to medium temperature.
- Fill a pot with water and bring it to a gentle simmer. Poach the sausage links delicately for 8 minutes. Remove the sausages from the water and let them rest until cooled.
- Thread the bread pieces and sausage links alternately onto the rosemary sprigs.
- Place skewers on the grill until the bread becomes crispy and the sausage develops a golden-brown exterior, approximately 7 to 10 minutes, applying olive oil as required. Serve immediately while hot or at room temperature.
