Ingredients

  • 2 pounds raw shrimp, frozen, deveined, with shells left on
  • 2 sticks cold butter, chopped into pieces
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • Crusty bread for accompaniment

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375F. If the shrimp are clumped, rinse and spread them evenly on a baking tray.
  2. In a food processor combine the butter, parsley, salt, red pepper flakes, garlic, and lemon juice; pulse until well blended. Scatter the cold butter mixture over the shrimp.
  3. Bake until the shrimp are fully opaque and the butter is sizzling and melted through.
  4. Serve with warm crusty bread. Peel each shrimp before eating and let guests dip bread into the buttery pan juices.
