Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp salted butter, plus extra for greasing the pan
  • 1 (10-ounce) bag standard marshmallows
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 4 cups fruity cereal, like Fruity Pebbles
  • 2 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 (10-ounce) bag mini multi-colored marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • 4 oz white chocolate

Instructions

  1. Generously butter a 9-inch square cake pan, coating the sides too.
  2. In a large heavy pot, melt butter over medium heat until it foams and turns medium golden (about 3-4 minutes), swirling occasionally. Add standard marshmallows, stir until fully melted, then mix in salt.
  3. Remove from heat. Fold in both cereals until evenly coated. Gently fold in mini rainbow marshmallowssome will melt slightly for perfect texture.
  4. Transfer to prepared pan; press gently with a spatula. While warm, sprinkle rainbow sprinkles on top to adhere. Cool completely, about 20 minutes.
  5. Melt white chocolate in a heat-proof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Cool 1 minute.
  6. Drizzle over treats; let set 5 minutes. Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares with a sharp knife for bite-sized, colorful bliss that'll brighten any party!
