- 5 tablespoons salted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, plus extra for topping
- Pepperoni slices, to garnish
- Vegetable oil, for greasing the pan
- Hot honey, for drizzling
Cook Mode (Keep your screen on while cooking.)
- Heat the oven to 400F. In a small saucepan, melt the butter together with the minced garlic.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a flat surface into an 8 by 18-inch rectangle. Brush one-third of the garlic butter over the dough, then scatter 1 cup mozzarella evenly on top. Place pepperoni slices along one long edge, then add more pepperoni to cover half the dough. Roll the dough tightly from the pepperoni edge into a log, then cut into 16 equal rounds.
- Set the rounds cut side up in a well-oiled 8-inch cast-iron skillet and brush them with the remaining garlic butter. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle extra mozzarella over the rolls, then continue baking about 10 more minutes until the cheese is browned. Finally, drizzle hot honey over the rolls just before serving.
