Ingredients
- 1 orange
- 3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Zest the orange, then carefully segment it, removing all the pith (the white membrane) completely. Place the orange zest and segments into a food processor and pulse briefly for 3-4 seconds, leaving it slightly chunky.
- In a saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, and water. Cover and cook over medium-low heat, stirring every few minutes, for about 15 minutes until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
- Transfer the hot jam into sterilized canning jars and seal them following the proper canning instructions. Make sure to sterilize your canning jars according to the manufacturer's guidelines before filling.
- Optionally, label the jars and decorate with ribbons to make lovely gifts.
