Ingredients
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled
- 1 large strip lemon peel
- 6 cups water
- About 1/3 cup honey (adjust to taste)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 4 chamomile or other preferred tea bags
Directions
1. Cut the ginger into thin slices.
2. In a small pot, combine the ginger, lemon peel, water, and honey; bring to a boil.
3. Remove from heat, add the lemon juice, then pour the mixture into a teapot.
4. Add the tea bags to the hot liquid and let steep to your desired strength.
5. Remove the tea bags and serve.
