Fisherman's Barbecue Trout Recipe

- 6 trout fillets
- 1 medium onion (white or yellow)
- 1 large lemon
- 6 to 8 garlic cloves, crushed
- About 1/3 stick of butter
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 6 sheets of aluminum foil, each roughly 12 inches square
- Fire up your grill to medium-high heat and get ready for a mouthwatering feast straight from the outdoors.
- Rinse the trout fillets under cool water, pat them bone-dry, and slice the onion and lemon into thin 1/8-inch ringsdiscard any lemon seeds for the perfect bite.
- Grab a crushed garlic clove and rub it lovingly over each fillet. Center it on a foil sheet, top with a generous pat of butter, a few onion rings, a sprinkle of salt and pepper, and 1-2 lemon slices. Seal the packet tightly like a treasurerepeat for all fillets and imagine the flavors infusing.
