Whip up these irresistible Chocolate Covered Cherries a delightful treat that's easy to make and perfect for sharing! With juicy maraschino cherries wrapped in smooth, melted chocolate, they'll steal the show at any gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 40 maraschino cherries with stems (packed in very heavy syrup), drained thoroughly
  • 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (6 ounces) white chocolate chips

  1. Prepare a cookie sheet by lining it with parchment or wax paper. Dry the cherries well with paper towels.
  2. Melt the chocolates separately in a stainless steel bowl placed over a pot of simmering water, stirring frequently until melted smoothly.
  3. Grasp the stem of each cherry and dip it in the melted chocolate to coat fully. For a stunning twist, cover half of the cherry in white chocolate and the other half in semisweet chocolate. Place each coated cherry onto the prepared cookie sheet. Repeat with all cherries.
  4. Put the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 40 minutes, allowing the chocolate to harden completely. Enjoy the sweet, chocolatey bliss!
