About This Recipe

Channel your inner artist and craft some delicious Halloween-inspired edible art from cheeseutilizing three distinct varieties to be precise! Combined, golden Cheddar, goat, and paprika-seasoned white Cheddar recreate those memorable candy corn hues. Present alongside several cheese spreaders and an assortment of your preferred crackers and witness this cheese creation vanish rapidly.

Ingredients

  • Four 8-ounce rectangular blocks golden Cheddar
  • Four 8-ounce rectangular blocks white Cheddar
  • 1 pound goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons red wine
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Crackers, for serving

Special Equipment

Skewers (optional) and a pastry brush

Instructions

  1. Arrange 2 blocks of the golden cheese next to each other on a cheese platter. Press them firmly so they connect. Layer the remaining 2 blocks of golden cheese directly on top of them. Layer the blocks of white cheese on top of the golden in the same manner. Should you wish, insert 2 skewers down through the top of the blocks to secure them in position.
  2. Utilizing a keen knife, trim the edges of the cheese blocks to mimic the lower two-thirds of a candy corn piece. (You will incorporate the white point at the conclusion utilizing the goat cheese.) Put aside the cheese trimmings for future application, including queso dip or melted cheese sandwiches. Following trimming, withdraw the skewers from the tower if used.
  3. Working with your hands, shape the goat cheese into the point of the candy corn and position it atop the cheese stack. Fashion it to a pointed end utilizing a butter knife or offset spatula. Combine the red wine and paprika in a tiny container and apply it to the white Cheddar cheese area with a pastry brush. Present with a selection of crackers.
