Ingredients
- Nonstick baking spray, for preparing the pan
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
- 1½ cups shredded Havarti cheese
- 12 frozen dinner rolls, thawed
Instructions
- Lightly grease a loaf pan using nonstick baking spray.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, swirling occasionally until it turns golden brown and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of sage. Remove from heat to cool slightly.
- Spread the shredded Havarti cheese on a plate.
- Roll out one thawed dinner roll into a 5-inch circle. Brush both sides with the brown butter mixture, coat in cheese, then cut in half and stack cut sides up in the pan. Repeat with remaining rolls. Pour over extra butter, top with remaining cheese and sage. Cover and let rise in a warm spot until doubled, about 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F while dough rises.
- Bake in the center of the oven for 40-45 minutes until deeply golden and cooked through. Serve warm for the ultimate tear-and-share experience!
