Ingredients

  • 4 strawberries, diced
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons grenadine
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 (12-ounce) bottles cold beer (recommended: Corona or a pilsner)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, blueberries, sugar, grenadine, and lime juice. Stir to help dissolve the sugar. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally so the fruit releases its juices.
  2. To serve, divide the fruit mixture evenly among 4 lowball glasses. Pour 6 ounces of cold beer into each glass and gently stir. Serve immediately.
