- 1/4 cup (84 grams) honey

- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced (about 3 cups sliced)
- Pinch of kosher salt
- One 9-ounce package quick-cooking boba pearls
- 1 quart milk of any type
Cook Mode (Keep screen awake) NEW: You can now switch to Cook Mode to keep your screen awake.
- Place the honey and 1 cup (240 grams) water in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir until the honey dissolves. Remove from heat, add the tea bags, and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Take out the tea bags, then add the strawberries and a pinch of salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the liquid thickens into a syrup, about 15 to 20 minutes. Strain out the solids and chill the syrup until ready to use.
- Prepare the boba pearls following the package instructions (see Cook's Note). Once cooked, drain and let cool for a few minutes. Place a spoonful of boba at the bottom of each serving glass. Pour in 1/4 cup of the chilled strawberry syrup, then fill the glass with milk. Stir gently and serve with a large straw.
Whip up the syrup ahead for convenience, but cook the boba pearls fresh right before serving to keep them perfectly chewy and irresistibleno clumping allowed!
