Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Korean chili flakes or crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 to 3 small heads baby bok choy
  • 1/4 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

  1. Whip up a fiery sauce in a medium bowl: blend 1/4 tsp gochujang, 1/4 tsp Korean chili flakes (or crushed red pepper), 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil, 1 tsp rice vinegar, 1/8 tsp kosher salt, and 1 tsp cold water until smooth and irresistible.
  2. Separate the leaves from 2-3 small heads of baby bok choy, wash them until sparkling clean, and pat dry. Toss them into the sauce, coating every tender leaf for maximum flavor.
