Prosciutto Wrapped Figs Recipe

Prosciutto-Wrapped Figs with Goat Cheese and Honey

Ingredients

  • 4 large whole figs (or 16 small mission figs), quartered
  • Goat cheese
  • 1 (3-ounce) package prosciutto
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Create a small opening in the center of each fig. Carefully spoon about 1/4 teaspoon of creamy goat cheese into each openingjust enough to add a tangy contrast to the sweet fig.
  3. Tear each prosciutto slice in half. Wrap one half diagonally around each fig, starting from the top and tucking the ends underneath for a secure fit. Use toothpicks if needed to hold everything in place. Arrange the wrapped figs evenly across your prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and pumpkin pie spice, creating a warm, aromatic drizzle. Pour this mixture evenly over all the figs.
  5. Place the baking sheet on the top rack and roast for 8 to 10 minutes until the prosciutto becomes slightly crispy and the goat cheese begins to soften. Serve immediately while still warm for the best flavor and texture.
