  • 1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter
  • 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp, ideally extra jumbo (16/20 count), patted dry
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red or white miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped basil
Cooking Instructions:
  1. Over medium-high heat, melt the butter in a large, heavy skillet. Once melted, add the shrimp along with a few pinches of black pepper. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink, about 20 to 30 seconds on each side.
