Instructions
- Gently use a peeler to remove the peel from the lemon and orange, being careful to take only the colored rind and avoid the white pith underneath.
- Combine the citrus peels and olive oil in a small saucepan. Warm over low heat for about 3 minutes until the peels soften and bubble lightly without curling. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to steep for about 3 hours as it cools completely.
