  • 1 cup canned unsweetened chestnuts (preferably packed in water)
  • Confectioners' sugar
  • Rum to thin
  • Pinch instant espresso coffee
  • Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Bittersweet chocolate

Indulge in this silky, nutty delight that's surprisingly simple to whip upperfect for impressing guests with minimal effort!

  1. Blend the chestnuts in a food processor with confectioners' sugar until sweetly smooth. Splash in a bit of rum to loosen the puree for folding, then enhance with a pinch of espresso and vanilla. Chill until serving time.
  2. Whip the cream to soft or medium peaks, lightly sweetening with confectioners' sugar. Keep cold for peak fluffiness.
  3. Right before serving, gently fold the chilled chestnut puree into the whipped cream. Spoon into glasses and top with shavings of bittersweet chocolate for an irresistible finish.
