Chestnut Mousse Recipe

- 1 cup canned unsweetened chestnuts (preferably packed in water)
- Confectioners' sugar
- Rum to thin
- Pinch instant espresso coffee
- Vanilla
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Bittersweet chocolate
Indulge in this silky, nutty delight that's surprisingly simple to whip upperfect for impressing guests with minimal effort!
- Blend the chestnuts in a food processor with confectioners' sugar until sweetly smooth. Splash in a bit of rum to loosen the puree for folding, then enhance with a pinch of espresso and vanilla. Chill until serving time.
- Whip the cream to soft or medium peaks, lightly sweetening with confectioners' sugar. Keep cold for peak fluffiness.
- Right before serving, gently fold the chilled chestnut puree into the whipped cream. Spoon into glasses and top with shavings of bittersweet chocolate for an irresistible finish.
