Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 2 ounces milk
- 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375F. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, milk, and vanilla; let stand until room temperature.
- Fit your stand mixer with the paddle attachment. Add butter to the bowl and mix on low to soften, then add granulated and brown sugars. Increase speed to cream until pale and airy. Reduce speed, gradually add egg mixture, then mix on medium until fully combined.
- Slowly add flour mixture, scraping sides as needed for even dough. Fold in chocolate chips. Scoop 6 dough balls per parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 13-15 minutes, rotating pans midway for even baking. Cookies are done when golden and set.
