Ingredients:

  • Nonstick spray for the baking sheet
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 6 tablespoons evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus extra for brushing and serving
  • Sliced ham, to serve

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F and lightly grease a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, chives, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine sour cream, evaporated milk, and melted butter. Gently stir wet ingredients into dry until just mixed.
  3. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead 6 to 8 times, and pat into a 3/4-inch-thick disk. Cut with a floured 2-inch biscuit cutter, place on the baking sheet, brush tops with butter, and bake 20 to 22 minutes until golden. Enjoy warm with extra butter and sliced ham!
