Ingredients

  • Eight 1/3- to 1/2-inch thick slices of Pullman bread
  • 4 ounces of smoked gouda, sliced very thin using a cheese slicer
  • 4 slices of muenster cheese (approximately 4 ounces)
  • 1 medium jarred roasted red pepper, drained, patted dry, and sliced thin
  • 2 cups of baby arugula
  • 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
