Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen puff pastry sheet, 9-inch square, thawed
  • All-purpose flour, just for dusting
  • 1/2 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 1/4 cup roasted salted peanuts, chopped
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A splash of milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375F (190C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Slice the outer sections into six 1-inch strips on each side, stopping at the filling.
  4. Fold the top and bottom borders over the filling. Braid by crossing strips from alternating sides. Transfer to the baking sheet.
  5. Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sea salt, and bake for 28-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Meanwhile, whisk powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk into a smooth icing.
  7. Cool for 10-15 minutes, drizzle with icing, slice, and enjoy this irresistible treat!
