Ingredients

  • 1 pound ripe mango (approx. 3 medium mangoes)
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh into large chunks; set aside. In a small pot over medium heat, warm the half-and-half and sugar, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves. Stir in the vanilla extract, then remove from heat and cool completely.
