Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
- 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Warm 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in the chopped garlic and cook until lightly golden.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes, reduce the heat to medium-low, stir, and cover the skillet. Let cook for about 5 minutes, until the tomatoes soften and blend into the oil.
- Toss in the green beans, season with salt and pepper, and stir well. Lower the heat to low and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the beans are tender, about 10 minutes.
