Topping

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Fruit Filling

  • 3 cups black seedless grapes
  • 3 cups blackberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F (175C) and lightly coat a 9-inch square baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Make the topping by combining flour, brown sugar, oats, butter, vanilla, and salt; mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs with small, pea-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, toss together the grapes, blackberries, granulated sugar, and cornstarch until evenly coated, then spread the fruit mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Scatter the crumble topping evenly over the fruit and bake on the center rack for 4045 minutes, until the topping is golden and the filling is bubbling.
