Grape and Blackberry Crisp Recipe

Topping
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Fruit Filling
- 3 cups black seedless grapes
- 3 cups blackberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350F (175C) and lightly coat a 9-inch square baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Make the topping by combining flour, brown sugar, oats, butter, vanilla, and salt; mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs with small, pea-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss together the grapes, blackberries, granulated sugar, and cornstarch until evenly coated, then spread the fruit mixture into the prepared pan.
- Scatter the crumble topping evenly over the fruit and bake on the center rack for 4045 minutes, until the topping is golden and the filling is bubbling.
- Serve warm, optionally with whipped cream or ice cream.
