Prepare a simple sugar syrup first: In a saucepan, combine 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water. Heat over medium until fully dissolved, about 5 minutes. Cool completely.
Peach Puree
- Defrost a 16-ounce bag of frozen peaches.
- Blend with 1 teaspoon grated orange zest and 1/2 cup sugar syrup.
- Strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a bottle or jar.
Strawberry or Blueberry Puree
- Thaw a 16-ounce bag of frozen berries.
- Blend with 1/3 cup sugar syrup.
- Strain and bottle.
Keep purees refrigerated until you're ready to drizzle them over desserts, cocktails, or pancakespure summer flavor anytime!
