Sauce Ingredients:
- 6 bacon slices
- 6 pork sausage links, casings taken off
- 8 ounces unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose seasoned flour
- 3 cups milk
- Garlic powder
- Hot sauce, like Tabasco
- Fresh thyme
- Ground white and black pepper
- Salt
Meat Ingredients:
- Vegetable oil
- 6 ounces beef steak, diced
- 1 egg, beaten mixed with a touch of milk for coating
- 1 cup all-purpose seasoned flour
- Fried eggs and hash browns, as garnish

Instructions:
- To prepare the sauce: Cook the bacon until it becomes crispy, then mince it finely and put it to the side. Brown the sausage meat and saute it completely, then put it to the side.
- In a large pot, warm the butter, then incorporate the flour on medium heat. Add the milk gradually while whisking constantly, and simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens. Mix in the prepared bacon and sausage, then add seasoning including garlic, hot sauce, thyme, salt, and both types of pepper. Maintain at serving temperature.
- To prepare the meat: Heat oil in a big heavy skillet until it reaches 350 degrees F. Tenderize the meat using a meat mallet; ensure it is neither excessively firm nor too delicate. Coat the meat in the egg mixture, then in flour.
- Deep fry the meat until it achieves a golden, crispy exterior, then remove excess grease. Plate the meat, top with the sauce and accompany with fried eggs and hash browns.
