Instructions:

  1. To prepare the sauce: Cook the bacon until it becomes crispy, then mince it finely and put it to the side. Brown the sausage meat and saute it completely, then put it to the side.
  2. In a large pot, warm the butter, then incorporate the flour on medium heat. Add the milk gradually while whisking constantly, and simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens. Mix in the prepared bacon and sausage, then add seasoning including garlic, hot sauce, thyme, salt, and both types of pepper. Maintain at serving temperature.
  3. To prepare the meat: Heat oil in a big heavy skillet until it reaches 350 degrees F. Tenderize the meat using a meat mallet; ensure it is neither excessively firm nor too delicate. Coat the meat in the egg mixture, then in flour.
  4. Deep fry the meat until it achieves a golden, crispy exterior, then remove excess grease. Plate the meat, top with the sauce and accompany with fried eggs and hash browns.

Raspberry Protein Muffins Recipe

These protein-packed raspberry muffins are a healthy addition to your breakfast or afternoon snack, thanks to the creamy almond butter, rich Greek yogurt, nutty almond flour and touch of vanilla-flavored protein powder, providing 10 grams of protein per serving. The tart raspberries and touch of cardamom add brightness and punch to these delicious treats. While these muffins add a boost of protein, they shouldn’t be considered a full meal replacement. We recommend pairing with a hard-boiled egg or cup of Greek yogurt for even more protein.
