Ingredients
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 pounds dark chocolate melting wafers
- Chocolate jimmies (chocolate sprinkles) for garnish
Special Equipment
20 lollipop sticks and a block of florist foam
Directions
- Prepare a baking sheet by covering it with a silicone baking mat.
- Sift together the powdered sugar, cocoa, flour, and salt in a large bowl. Gradually add the hot melted butter and vanilla, stirring until the mixture is well combined. Using a small cookie scoop, portion out 20 scoops and shape each into smooth balls with your hands. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball. Arrange the pops on the prepared baking sheet and allow them to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Melt the dark chocolate wafers using a microwave or double boiler, then let them cool slightly. Dip each brownie pop into the melted chocolate, gently tapping the stick on the side of the bowl to let excess chocolate drip off. Decorate with chocolate jimmies while the chocolate is still wet. Insert the sticks into the florist foam block to set at room temperature.
