Indulge in this timeless holiday delight: chocolate-covered orange peels! Transform vibrant orange zest into tender, sugar-kissed treats, then dunk them in rich melted chocolate. The only challenge? Patiently waiting for that irresistible chocolate shell to setpure bliss awaits!
- 3 oranges
- 3 cups sugar, plus extra for coating
- Melted chocolate, for dipping

- Remove the peels from 3 oranges, then cut the peels into strips.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the orange strips, and cook for 15 minutes; drain and rinse.
- In a separate saucepan, combine sugar and 3 cups of water and bring to a simmer. Add the peels and cook until tender, about 45 minutes. Drain and toss the peels in sugar until coated. Transfer to a rack and let dry for about 8 hours.
- Dip the dried orange peels in melted chocolate and allow them to set completely before serving.
