Whip up this irresistibly smooth homemade chocolate oat milk and say goodbye forever to sugary store-bought versions. Creamy, chocolatey bliss awaits in every sip!
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats, rinsed
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Kosher salt

- Place the oats into a medium bowl and cover with enough water. Refrigerate to soften for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Drain the soaked oats and rinse thoroughly. Transfer to a blender with 3 cups fresh water. Blend on high until fully broken down, 2-3 minutes. Strain through a fine strainer or cheesecloth into a container. (Save oat pulp for smoothies or baking!)
- Heat 1 cup of the strained oat milk in a microwave-safe bowl for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in honey and cocoa powder until perfectly smooth and lump-free.
- Mix in vanilla extract, remaining cold oat milk, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Stir well. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Enjoy the rich, guilt-free chocolate indulgence!
