Ingredients
- 4 cups brown rice crisp cereal
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup almond butter (or any nut butter)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions
- Line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and set aside. Place the cereal in a large bowl. In a small saucepan, combine honey, almond butter, coconut oil, and cinnamon. Heat over medium-low, stirring until the mixture is smooth and well blended. Remove from heat and pour over the cereal. Stir until all the cereal is evenly coated. Fold in the walnuts and chia seeds. Firmly press the mixture into the prepared pan. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until cooled, before slicing into squares.
