Beef Tenderloin:

  • 2 pounds beef tenderloin, cleaned and tied
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Crostini:

  • 2 baguettes, sliced into twenty 1/2-inch pieces total

Horseradish Sauce:

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons minced chives
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 500F to sear the succulent beef tenderloin to perfection.
  2. Place the tenderloin on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, then generously season with salt and pepper. Rub the oil and seasoning evenly over the meat for unbeatable flavor.

  4. Lower the oven temperature to 400F for golden, irresistible crostini.
