Ingredients
- 2-pound London broil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 batch of Dave's Rub (see below)
Dave's Rub
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 4 pinches of salt
- 15 grinds fresh black pepper
Instructions
1. Massage the olive oil all over the London broil, then press the Dave's Rub onto the meat so it's completely coated. Let the seasoned roast rest at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
2. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat until hot.
3. Place the beef on the preheated grill pan and cook for about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove the steak and let it rest for 510 minutes before slicing thinly at an angle.
How to Make Dave's Rub
Combine the chili powder, dried oregano, sweet paprika, garlic powder, salt, and freshly ground black pepper in a small bowl; mix thoroughly.
