Transform simple asparagus and bacon into an irresistible treat with this easy, crowd-pleasing recipe! Perfect for gatherings, these smoky, sweet bundles will have everyone reaching for seconds.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed at the ends
- 12 strips of bacon
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400F. Divide the asparagus into 12 small bundles and wrap each with a slice of bacon, starting about half an inch from the tips. Secure with a toothpick and place in a shallow casserole dish.
- In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, garlic salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then pour the glossy glaze evenly over the bundles.
- Roast for about 25 minutes, until asparagus is tender and bacon is crispy. Remove toothpicks and serve hot for maximum flavor!
