Raspberry Jam Lemon Drop Cocktail

Have a spoonful of raspberry jam sitting at the bottom of the jar? Turn it into a bright, fruity Lemon Drop the jam adds a lovely rosy sweetness and you can even use the jar as your shaker and glass. Cheers to a simple, creative cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (2 ounces) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) raspberry jam
  • 1/4 cup (2 ounces) vodka
  • 1 tablespoon (1/2 ounce) orange liqueur
  • Ice cubes
  • A strip of lemon peel
  • Slice of lemon

Instructions

  1. Put the lemon juice and raspberry jam into a jam jar. Secure the lid and shake firmly until the jam is blended with the juice.
  2. Add the vodka, orange liqueur, and a handful of ice to the jar. Close again and shake vigorously until the outside of the jar is frosty and cold, about 30 seconds.
  3. Remove the lid and garnish with the lemon peel and a lemon slice. Enjoy directly from the jar.
