Pineapple Tarts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry

  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce, for serving
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F (200C) and get ready to create a tropical dessert that'll transport you to paradise.
  2. Reserve 4 pineapple rings for topping. Toss the rest into a food processor with the ginger, salt, and agave syrupblend until silky smooth for that irresistible filling.
  3. Slice each puff pastry sheet into 4 squares and arrange on a parchment-lined baking tray. Dollop a heaping tablespoon of pineapple mixture in the center of eachyour sweet adventure begins here!
  4. Brush edges with beaten egg, top with another square, and seal gently. Brush tops with more egg wash, add a pineapple ring, and sprinkle with sugar for a caramelized crunch.
