Ingredients
- 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice, drained
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 orange, zest and juice
- 1 lemon, zest and juice
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the crushed pineapple, sugar, orange zest and juice, lemon zest and juice, and chopped jalapenos, stirring until well blended.
- Bring the mixture to a vigorous boil over high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often to prevent burning.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before serving.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to one month or freeze for up to six months.
