Ingredients:
- plain dry bread crumbs
- Italian seasoning, to taste
- garlic powder, to taste
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 pounds total)
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1 jar (1 lb. 8 oz.) Chunky Tomato Garlic and Onion Sauce
- 1 cup part-skim mozzarella, shredded
- Heat your oven to 400F. In a shallow container, combine bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat evenly with the crumb mixture. Place the coated chicken pieces in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
