Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
- Chile-lime powder (recommended: Tajin), or salt
- 2 cucumbers, peeled, thinly sliced
- 4 cups water
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup vodka
- Ice
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the water and sugar over medium-high heat until boiling. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Place the chile-lime powder on a small plate. Use the lime wedge to moisten the rims of the martini glasses. Turn the glasses upside down into the powder to coat the rims evenly.
- In a blender, mix the cooled simple syrup, cucumber slices, water, and lime juice until smooth. Pour the mixture through a strainer into a pitcher. Stir in the vodka. Fill a martini shaker with ice and add about 1 cup of the cucumber mixture. Shake well and serve immediately.
