This decadent pancake recipe bursts with whole bananas in every bite, wrapped in a chocolatey, nutty embrace that'll make your taste buds dance.
Ingredients
- Your choice of pancake mix
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled
- Ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Whipped cream for topping
- Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
- Preheat a greased griddle or large nonstick skillet. Pour about 1/4 cup batter for each large pancake, roughly 9 inches wide. As bubbles appear on the surface, scatter half the chocolate chips and walnuts over the pancake. Flip once the underside is golden brown and cook until the other side is done. Remove to a plate. Repeat for a second pancake.
- While the pancakes are on the griddle, sprinkle a half teaspoon (or to your taste) of cinnamon evenly over both bananas.
- Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Once the butter foams, add the bananas and cook, turning as needed, until they are soft and heated through.
- Wrap each cinnamon-dusted banana in a chocolate chip walnut pancake. Serve topped with dollops of whipped cream and a light shower of confectioners' sugar.
