Ingredients:
- Cooking spray (for coating the inside of the brown paper bag)
- 2 slices of bacon
- 1 egg
Special equipment:
- 1 brown lunch bag
- A cooking tripod with a hook
- Campfire with hot embers
Instructions:
- Lightly spray the inside of the brown paper bag with cooking spray.
- Cut each bacon slice in half and lay the pieces flat on the bottom of the bag to form a base.
- Carefully crack the egg into the bag on top of the bacon.
- Fold the open end of the bag over to seal it.
- Immediately hang the bag by hooking it onto the cooking tripod, suspending it about 12 inches above the hot embers (hanging quickly helps prevent the egg from leaking through the bag).
- Cook for 2025 minutes, or until the bacon and egg are fully cooked.
Notes:
- Cook over hot coals or embers, not open flames, to prevent the bag from burning.
- Do not overfill the bag; cook time may vary with heat intensity.
