Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in pork chops, about 1/4-inch thick
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup preferred teriyaki sauce (suggested: Lawry's Teriyaki Sauce)
- 1 cup preferred BBQ sauce
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Place the pork chops in a plastic bag and pour half of the teriyaki sauce over them. Place the chicken breasts in a separate plastic bag and add half of the BBQ sauce. Refrigerate overnight to marinate.
- Preheat the grill to medium. Remove the pork and chicken from the bags and season both with salt and pepper.
- Grill the chicken about 6 minutes per side, turning at 45-degree angles to create grill marks, until fully cooked.
- Grill the pork chops about 5 minutes per side, also turning at a 45-degree angle to develop grill marks.
- While grilling, baste the pork chops with the remaining teriyaki sauce and the chicken with the remaining BBQ sauce.
- Remove from the grill when the pork reaches an internal temperature of 160F and the chicken reaches 170F. Let rest 510 minutes before serving.
