Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops, about 1/4-inch thick
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup preferred teriyaki sauce (suggested: Lawry's Teriyaki Sauce)
  • 1 cup preferred BBQ sauce
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Place the pork chops in a plastic bag and pour half of the teriyaki sauce over them. Place the chicken breasts in a separate plastic bag and add half of the BBQ sauce. Refrigerate overnight to marinate.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium. Remove the pork and chicken from the bags and season both with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the chicken about 6 minutes per side, turning at 45-degree angles to create grill marks, until fully cooked.
  4. Grill the pork chops about 5 minutes per side, also turning at a 45-degree angle to develop grill marks.
  5. While grilling, baste the pork chops with the remaining teriyaki sauce and the chicken with the remaining BBQ sauce.
  6. Remove from the grill when the pork reaches an internal temperature of 160F and the chicken reaches 170F. Let rest 510 minutes before serving.
